Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OMass Therapeutics is developing a first-in-class small molecule agonist of GPR65 for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). GPR65 is a pH-sensing G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) primarily expressed on immune cells. By activating GPR65, the therapy aims to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines, increase pro-resolution cytokines, and enhance epithelial barrier repair. The program, discovered using the proprietary OdyssION platform, was licensed to Genentech (Roche) in September 2025 for further development.
