Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GSK1795091 + GSK3174998 is a combination of two investigational immunotherapy agents developed by GSK for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. **GSK1795091** is a Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist, functioning as an immune system stimulant that activates innate immune responses via cytokine and chemokine induction. **GSK3174998** is a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting OX40, a costimulatory receptor on activated T-cells, promoting T-cell proliferation and survival to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The combination was tested in early-phase trials to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy. Despite showing immune activation, the combination exhibited limited clinical activity and development was terminated after modification in the manufacturing of GSK1795091 led to reduced biological activity and immunologic effects[1][3][5][4].
