GSK2110183 + bortezomib is an experimental combination of two drugs investigated primarily for the treatment of multiple myeloma and other hematologic malignancies. GSK2110183 (afuresertib) is an oral, ATP-competitive inhibitor of AKT, a key signaling kinase involved in cell survival and proliferation; it blocks cancer cell growth by inhibiting downstream AKT signaling pathways[6][8]. Bortezomib is a reversible proteasome inhibitor that disrupts protein degradation, leading to apoptosis in malignant plasma cells.
