The inactivated HFRS vaccine from AIM Honesty is a bivalent inactivated viral vaccine developed for the prevention of Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS). Produced using Vero cells as a substrate, the vaccine contains chemically inactivated Hantaan and Seoul virus strains, which are the primary hantaviruses responsible for HFRS in China. The formulation includes an aluminum hydroxide adjuvant to enhance the immune response. The vaccine received New Drug Application (NDA) approval in China in 2007 and is marketed by subsidiaries of AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd., including AIM Honesty and AIM Persistence. It is currently part of the commercialized vaccine portfolio distributed across China.
