Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Haleigh's Hope is a proprietary, high-cannabidiol (CBD), low-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) medical cannabis strain and whole-plant hemp extract. It was specifically bred by Jason Cranford and developed by the Flowering H.O.P.E. Foundation for its therapeutic properties, particularly its anticonvulsant effects. Named after Haleigh Cox, a child whose severe epilepsy and cerebral palsy symptoms were significantly alleviated by the oil derived from this strain, Haleigh's Hope typically features a CBD:THC ratio of 24:1 or higher (e.g., 30:1, 20:1), ensuring non-psychoactive effects. It is made from organic, non-GMO ingredients and is legally classified as a hemp product in the United States due to its THC content being below 0.3%. It is utilized in medical cannabis programs for various conditions.
