Overview

HB-110 + entecavir is a **combination therapy** comprising HB-110, a DNA vaccine targeting hepatitis B virus (HBV), and entecavir, a guanosine nucleoside analogue antiviral. HB-110 is designed to induce HBV-specific immune responses, particularly T-cell responses, with a therapeutic goal of enhancing seroconversion and immune control in chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. Entecavir suppresses HBV replication by inhibiting the three activities of the viral polymerase: priming, reverse transcription, and DNA synthesis. This combination aims to synergistically suppress viral replication and induce immunological responses against HBV, intended for use in patients with chronic hepatitis B, especially those not achieving adequate virological response with standard therapy or at risk of multi-drug resistance[2][4][5].
