HB0025 + nab-paclitaxel is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). HB0025, also known as sotiburafusp alfa, is a bispecific antibody developed by Huabo Biopharm that targets both Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF). It functions by combining an anti-PD-L1 monoclonal antibody with a VEGFR1 fragment that acts as a VEGF trap, thereby simultaneously inhibiting tumor-induced immunosuppression and angiogenesis. Nab-paclitaxel is an albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, a microtubule-stabilizing agent that inhibits mitosis. This combination is being evaluated in Phase II trials as a first-line therapy for patients with unresectable, locally advanced, or metastatic TNBC, aiming to leverage the synergistic effects of immune checkpoint inhibition, anti-angiogenesis, and cytotoxic chemotherapy.
