HC009 is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound mixture developed by Beijing Houcheng Pharmaceutical Technology for the treatment of decreased ovarian reserve (DOR). It is specifically formulated to address the Kidney deficiency and liver stagnation syndrome (肾虚肝郁证) according to TCM diagnostic principles. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials in China to assess its efficacy and safety in improving ovarian function and related symptoms in women with DOR. As a TCM mixture, it likely contains multiple botanical extracts intended to modulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis and improve the ovarian microenvironment.
