High-density platelet-rich plasma + emulsified adipose-derived tissue stromal vascular fraction (HD-PRP + emulsified AD-tSVF) is an autologous biocellular regenerative therapy combination. It is prepared at the point-of-care by combining high-density platelet-rich plasma, which contains a concentrated array of growth factors (including PDGF, TGF-β, and VEGF), with an emulsified stromal vascular fraction (SVF) derived from the patient's own adipose tissue. The SVF component provides a rich source of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs), pericytes, and endothelial progenitor cells. This combination is primarily investigated for the treatment of various forms of alopecia, including androgenetic alopecia and alopecia areata. The therapeutic effect is mediated through the synergistic action of growth factor-induced signaling and stem cell-mediated tissue repair, which together promote hair follicle cycling, enhance local angiogenesis, and reduce inflammation in the scalp microenvironment.
