Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HLX10 is a recombinant humanized anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody that blocks the PD-1 receptor, thereby enhancing T-cell mediated immune responses against tumor cells. Albumin-bound paclitaxel (also known as nab-paclitaxel or Abraxane) is a formulation of the chemotherapeutic agent paclitaxel bound to human albumin nanoparticles, which improves drug delivery and reduces solvent-related toxicity. Paclitaxel acts as an antimicrotubule agent by stabilizing microtubules and inhibiting cell division, leading to cancer cell death. The combination of HLX10 with albumin-bound paclitaxel is being investigated for its synergistic antitumor effects in advanced cancers such as cervical cancer, particularly after progression on first-line chemotherapy[1][2][6].
