HS-10234 + emtricitabine

HS-10234 + emtricitabine is a fixed-dose combination of two small-molecule antiviral agents intended for oral administration. HS-10234 (tenofovir amibufenamide) is a novel prodrug of tenofovir, which is an inhibitor of the nucleotide reverse transcriptase essential for viral replication in hepatitis B virus (HBV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)[1][2][3]. Emtricitabine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that also targets the same viral enzyme. Together, the combination targets reverse transcriptase enzymes via competitive inhibition, leading to suppression of viral replication.
