Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HS-10502 + nab-paclitaxel is an investigational combination therapy currently in phase I clinical development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. HS-10502 is a potent, selective inhibitor of poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1), designed to exploit synthetic lethality in tumors with homologous recombination deficiencies. Nab-paclitaxel (nanoparticle albumin-bound paclitaxel, marketed as Abraxane) is an antimicrotubule agent formulated to facilitate paclitaxel delivery and improve tolerability. The rationale for the combination is based on the potential synergy of PARP inhibition with microtubule-disrupting chemotherapy, aiming to enhance tumor cell kill in a variety of solid tumor settings, including ovarian, breast (HER2-negative and triple-negative), prostate, gastric, and peritoneal cancers[5][9].
