HS-20117 is a fully-human bispecific IgG1-like antibody targeting both EGFR and MET. It is being developed for use in combination with other drugs for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. CAPEOX (also known as XELOX or CAPOX) is a chemotherapy regimen that combines capecitabine (an oral prodrug of 5-fluorouracil) and oxaliplatin (a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent). This combination works by destroying rapidly dividing cancer cells through different mechanisms—capecitabine interferes with DNA synthesis while oxaliplatin causes DNA crosslinking and damage. The combination is primarily used to treat colorectal cancer but may also be used in other gastrointestinal cancers. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate the safety and efficacy of combining HS-20117 with CAPEOX in advanced solid tumors[1][2][4][5][6].
