Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hsc70NTD-TRP2(153-417) is an experimental recombinant **therapeutic cancer vaccine** fusion protein comprising the N-terminal ATPase domain of murine heat shock cognate protein 70 and amino acids 153-417 of murine tyrosinase-related protein 2, a melanoma-associated tumor-rejection antigen. In a B16 murine melanoma model, the refolded fusion protein retained ATPase activity, induced TRP2-specific cytotoxic T-lymphocyte responses, and delayed tumor growth following immunization. It is a preclinical academic construct rather than a clinically developed or marketed medicine. ([sciencedirect.com](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0165247806000848))
