This combination cell therapy consists of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUCMSCs) and human cord blood mononuclear cells (hCBMNCs), developed by Shenzhen Beike Bio-Technology. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for the treatment of premature ovarian failure (POF), typically administered in conjunction with hormone replacement therapy (HRT). hUCMSCs are multipotent stem cells known for their immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and pro-angiogenic properties, which are thought to help repair damaged ovarian tissue and restore the follicular microenvironment. hCBMNCs provide a diverse population of hematopoietic and progenitor cells that may further support vascularization and tissue regeneration. The primary therapeutic goal is to restore ovarian function, normalize hormone levels (such as serum gonadotropins and estrogen), and potentially improve fertility in women under the age of 40 affected by POF.
