Drug intelligence / Profile preview
HX008 + bevacizumab is a combination drug regimen consisting of **HX008** (a monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1, PD-1) and **bevacizumab** (a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor, VEGF)[4]. HX008 is under development as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, while bevacizumab is established as an inhibitor of angiogenesis by blocking VEGF-A. The combination is investigated for synergistic anti-tumor activity, where HX008 boosts anti-tumor immune response and bevacizumab suppresses tumor angiogenesis. This regimen is primarily developed for oncology indications, most notably advanced solid tumors such as hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and colorectal cancer. HX008 is developed by Taizhou Hengrui Pharmaceutical; bevacizumab (Avastin) is developed and manufactured by Genentech (Roche)[4].
