Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a topical combination product containing hyaluronic acid and arnica extract. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan with strong water-binding capacity, widely used for its hydrating, skin-plumping, and wound-healing properties. Arnica extract (typically from Arnica montana) contains active compounds such as helenalin that exhibit anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects by inhibiting pro-inflammatory cytokines. The combination is primarily marketed in cosmetic or over-the-counter products to hydrate the skin, reduce redness or irritation, soothe bruising/swelling after minor injuries or procedures, and support overall skin recovery. There is limited clinical evidence supporting the efficacy of this combination beyond individual ingredient effects[6][8]. It is not an FDA-approved pharmaceutical drug but rather a cosmeceutical or supplement formulation.
