This combination therapy consists of hyaluronic acid, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), and sodium deoxyribonucleic acid (sodium DNA), specifically investigated for the treatment of facial photoaging. The treatment is typically administered via laser-assisted drug delivery (LADD) following ablative fractional CO2 laser treatment, which creates micro-channels to enhance the penetration of these active ingredients into the dermis. Hyaluronic acid acts as a potent humectant to restore skin hydration and volume; ascorbic acid serves as an antioxidant and an essential cofactor for collagen biosynthesis; and sodium DNA (often referred to as polydeoxyribonucleotide or PDRN) promotes cellular regeneration and fibroblast proliferation. Together, these components aim to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, and reverse pigmentary changes associated with chronic ultraviolet radiation exposure.
