Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Hyaluronic acid + lidocaine is a combination product formulated as an injectable dermal filler for aesthetic correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles, such as nasolabial folds, lip augmentation, and improvement of perioral lines. Hyaluronic acid serves as a biocompatible, hydrophilic polysaccharide that binds water, restores facial volume, and improves skin texture, while lidocaine is a local anesthetic incorporated to minimize procedural pain and increase patient comfort during and after injection. The addition of lidocaine does not compromise the filler’s efficacy or safety. This combination is also used for cosmetic procedures in various facial areas and offers temporary results, requiring repeat treatments for maintenance[1][2][3][5].
