Pearl Shine Cream is a topical dermatological medication developed by Microwin Labs, primarily indicated for the treatment of moderate-to-severe melasma and facial hyperpigmentation. It is a triple-combination therapy typically formulated with hydroquinone, tretinoin, and mometasone furoate. Hydroquinone acts as a skin-bleaching agent by inhibiting the enzyme tyrosinase, thereby reducing melanin synthesis. Tretinoin, a retinoid, promotes epithelial cell turnover and enhances the penetration of hydroquinone. Mometasone furoate, a medium-potency corticosteroid, is included to mitigate the inflammatory response and irritation often associated with the other two active components.
