Overview

HYP-6589 + tyrosine kinase inhibitor is a combination investigational therapy consisting of HYP-6589, a small molecule inhibitor of Son of sevenless homolog 1 (SOS1), and an unspecified tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). HYP-6589 disrupts oncogenic signaling by inhibiting SOS1, a protein involved in RAS activation, which is commonly implicated in cancer. Tyrosine kinase inhibitors target dysregulated kinase signaling pathways associated with oncogenesis and drug resistance in solid tumors. This combination is being studied for its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy particularly in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring driver gene mutations, as well as in advanced solid tumors. The drugs are being developed by Sichuan Huiyu Seacross Pharma Technology and its related entities and are currently in phase 1/2 clinical trials for oncology indications.[1][3]
