Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IAE0972 + docetaxel is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer. IAE0972 is an antibody-cytokine fusion protein (immunocytokine) developed using Sunho's proprietary Armed ImmunoCytokine (AIC) platform. It targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) as an antagonist and stimulates the interleukin 10 receptor (IL-10R). The anti-EGFR component enriches the drug in EGFR-positive tumor microenvironments while IL10 activates antigen-specific CD8+ T cells to overcome immune exhaustion and restore tumor-killing activity. Docetaxel is a well-established chemotherapeutic agent that inhibits microtubule depolymerization. The combination aims to synergistically enhance antitumor immune responses while directly inhibiting tumor proliferation[1][3][5].
