Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IBI363 + platinum doublet chemotherapy is an investigational combination immunotherapy and chemotherapy regimen being developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The regimen combines IBI363 (TAK-928), a first-in-class recombinant bispecific fusion protein consisting of an anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) antibody fused to an engineered, interleukin-2 receptor alpha (IL-2Rα)-biased interleukin-2 (IL-2) variant, with standard platinum-based doublet chemotherapy (such as pemetrexed or paclitaxel combined with cisplatin or carboplatin). IBI363 simultaneously blocks the PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitory pathway and selectively activates the IL-2 pathway on tumor-specific T cells, while the chemotherapy component induces cytotoxic tumor cell death and promotes immunogenic cell death, potentially synergizing with the immunotherapy to overcome immune-cold or immunotherapy-resistant tumors. The combination is being co-developed globally by Innovent Biologics and Takeda.
