IBR854 + pazopanib

IBR854 + pazopanib is a combination therapy currently under clinical investigation for the treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The regimen consists of IBR854, a novel therapeutic agent, and pazopanib, a well-established small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI). Pazopanib, marketed under the brand name Votrient, targets multiple receptors involved in angiogenesis and tumor growth, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR-1, -2, and -3), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR-α and -β), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR-1 and -3), and the stem cell factor receptor (c-Kit). The combination is being evaluated in a multicenter, randomized, open-label, active-controlled Phase II study to determine if the addition of IBR854 to pazopanib monotherapy provides superior efficacy and a manageable safety profile in patients with advanced RCC.
