**ibrexafungerp + voriconazole** is an investigational combination of two antifungal drugs: ibrexafungerp, a semisynthetic triterpenoid and first-in-class oral (1→3)-β-d-glucan synthase inhibitor that disrupts fungal cell wall synthesis, and voriconazole, a triazole antifungal that inhibits the fungal cell membrane ergosterol biosynthesis by targeting lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase. This combination is being studied for improved efficacy in treating invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) and possibly other serious fungal infections, especially in immunocompromised patients.
