Overview

Ibuprofen + pamabrom is a fixed-dose combination small molecule drug developed by Lepu Pharmaceutical and marketed under the brand name Aijia (艾佳). It is approved in China for the relief of symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle, including dysmenorrhea, breast tenderness, headache, edema, and irritability. The combination consists of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) to provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, and pamabrom, a mild diuretic (8-bromotheophylline derivative) that reduces water retention and bloating.
