Icrucumab + mFOLFOX-6 is an investigational combination drug regimen consisting of icrucumab, a human monoclonal antibody targeting Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 1 (VEGFR-1), administered together with the mFOLFOX-6 chemotherapy regimen. The mFOLFOX-6 regimen includes oxaliplatin (a platinum-based DNA crosslinker), 5-fluorouracil (a pyrimidine analog antimetabolite), and folinic acid (leucovorin, a biomodulator increasing the cytotoxicity of 5-FU). - **Icrucumab** functions as an antiangiogenic agent by inhibiting VEGFR-1, thereby blocking tumor angiogenesis and growth. - **mFOLFOX-6** is a chemotherapeutic standard-of-care regimen used primarily for colorectal and gastric cancers, administered in two-week cycles. - This combination has been studied in clinical trials for advanced and metastatic gastrointestinal cancers, particularly metastatic colorectal cancer. - Icrucumab is developed by Eli Lilly.
