Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ID-LV305 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination immunotherapy consisting of two components: ID-LV305, an engineered lentiviral vector vaccine targeting NY-ESO-1 antigen, and pembrolizumab, a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). ID-LV305 is designed to stimulate dendritic cells to generate a specific T-cell immune response against NY-ESO-1-expressing tumors, while pembrolizumab blocks the PD-1 pathway to prevent tumor-mediated immune evasion. This combination aims to enhance anti-tumor immunity in cancers expressing NY-ESO-1, such as melanoma, sarcoma, ovarian cancer, or small cell lung cancer. Clinical studies have evaluated the safety and immune response of this regimen in patients with advanced malignancies, particularly those unresponsive to prior anti-PD-1 therapies[3][5][6].
