Overview

The DeVIC regimen is a salvage chemotherapy combination consisting of ifosfamide, carboplatin, etoposide, and dexamethasone. It is primarily utilized in the treatment of relapsed or refractory aggressive lymphomas, including non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL), Hodgkin's lymphoma, and nasal natural killer/T-cell lymphoma (NKTCL). The regimen was specifically designed to include agents that are not typically affected by multidrug resistance (MDR) mechanisms, such as P-glycoprotein expression. It is often employed as a second-line therapy to achieve remission before proceeding to autologous stem cell transplantation. The regimen has demonstrated overall response rates ranging from approximately 38% to 60% in various clinical studies.
