Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IGFBPL1 (A*02) T Cell Engager is a bispecific antibody being developed by Myrio Therapeutics for the treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The therapeutic is designed to target a specific peptide derived from Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein-like 1 (IGFBPL1) that is presented on the cell surface by the HLA-A*02 major histocompatibility complex (MHC). As a T-cell engager, the molecule simultaneously binds to this tumor-specific peptide-HLA complex and the CD3 receptor on T cells, thereby recruiting and activating cytotoxic T cells to selectively destroy IGFBPL1-positive tumor cells. The program is currently in the discovery phase of development.
