iguratimod + adalimumab

Iguratimod + adalimumab is a combination therapy consisting of two distinct disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) used primarily in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Iguratimod is an orally administered small molecule DMARD approved in Japan and China, known for its anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and bone-protective effects. It works by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-1 (IL-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), suppressing nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) activation, modulating B cell function, and selectively inhibiting cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2).
