ilaprazole + bismuth potassium citrate + clarithromycin + amoxicillin

This combination drug consists of four active pharmaceutical ingredients: **ilaprazole**, a proton pump inhibitor; **bismuth potassium citrate**, a bismuth salt; **clarithromycin**, a macrolide antibiotic; and **amoxicillin**, a beta-lactam antibiotic. This regimen is designed for the eradication of *Helicobacter pylori* infection, most commonly as a first-line or salvage therapy in the treatment of H. pylori-related gastritis and peptic ulcer diseases. Ilaprazole suppresses gastric acid secretion to increase antibiotic efficacy. Bismuth potassium citrate disrupts bacterial cell membranes and inhibits various enzymes and cellular processes in H. pylori. Clarithromycin and amoxicillin act on bacterial protein synthesis and cell wall synthesis, respectively, to eliminate the infection. This combination is a bismuth-based quadruple therapy, a modification of international guidelines to address rising antibiotic resistance and improve eradication rates.[1][2][3][4]
