The combination is especially considered in regions with high antibiotic resistance or when traditional clarithromycin-based triple therapy is suboptimal. Clinical trials have found a 10-day regimen (ilaprazole 10 mg bid, levofloxacin 500 mg bid, amoxicillin 1000 mg bid) yields high eradication rates (88.8% per protocol), with a favorable safety profile and few adverse effects[2].
