Overview

IMA910 + sargramostim is a combination immunotherapy used in cancer immunization trials, primarily targeting colorectal cancer. IMA910 is a multipeptide therapeutic cancer vaccine designed to induce T-cell responses against a set of tumor-associated antigens commonly expressed in colorectal tumors. Sargramostim (recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, GM-CSF) is included as an adjuvant to enhance antigen-specific immune responses by recruiting and activating dendritic cells at the vaccination site. The combination is under investigation as a means to boost vaccine-mediated anti-tumor immunity. Mechanistically, IMA910 provides multiple peptide epitopes for antigen presentation, while sargramostim acts as an immune system modulator, increasing the efficacy of the vaccine through its effects on innate and adaptive immunity.
