Drug intelligence / Profile preview
IMC-002 + lenvatinib is an investigational combination therapy for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), currently in Phase 1b clinical development. IMC-002 is a next-generation, fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting the CD47-SIRPα pathway to restore macrophage-mediated phagocytosis of tumor cells, while lenvatinib is an oral small molecule multi-kinase inhibitor approved as Lenvima, acting on targets such as VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFRα, KIT, and RET. IMC-002 is designed to minimize binding to normal cells and avoid hematologic toxicity. The combination is being evaluated as a second-line option for HCC patients refractory to prior treatment.
