Overview

IMGN151 + carboplatin is a combination therapy under clinical investigation for gynecologic cancers. IMGN151 is a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to target folate receptor alpha (FRα) on tumor cells, using a biparatopic antibody that binds two non-overlapping epitopes on FRα and is conjugated to the potent maytansinoid derivative DM21 via a cleavable peptide linker. The combination with carboplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapy agent, is intended to maximize anti-tumor efficacy. This regimen is being evaluated for safety and efficacy in Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials, particularly in ovarian, endometrial, peritoneal, and fallopian tube cancers. IMGN151 is being developed by AbbVie following ImmunoGen’s pipeline; carboplatin is a well-established chemotherapy drug used in a variety of cancers[1][2][3][4].
