Immunoglobulin G, A, and M

IgGAM is a preparation containing human immunoglobulins G, A, and M. It is used as an adjuvant therapy in severe infections such as sepsis and peritonitis. The drug exerts broad immunoregulatory effects by both enhancing immune responses (hyperinflammation) and suppressing excessive inflammation (hypoinflammation). Its mechanism of action includes pathogen elimination, endotoxin neutralization, modulation of the complement system to prevent tissue damage, and regulation of cytokine production. Clinical studies have shown that administration of IgGAM can improve survival in patients with severe infections like peritonitis[7]. Immunoglobulins are natural human proteins with established clinical use since the 1980s.
