Overview

**Inavolisib + bevacizumab** is an investigational combination of two anti-cancer agents used in research settings for the treatment of advanced, hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative, PIK3CA-mutated breast cancer. Inavolisib is a highly potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of the alpha isoform of the p110 catalytic subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3Kα), directly inhibiting the PI3K pathway and promoting degradation of mutated p110α. Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), thereby inhibiting angiogenesis and tumor blood vessel growth. The combination is not FDA-approved but may be under investigation for synergistic effects in PI3K-driven solid tumors, including breast cancer.
