InbioDerm + C is a combined medical device and autologous cell therapy developed for the treatment of chronic wounds, particularly diabetic foot ulcers. The product consists of a bioactive, biodegradable three-dimensional scaffold—InbioDerm—integrated with autologous mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) harvested from the patient's own hypodermal or adipose tissue. The scaffold provides a structural matrix that emulates the dermal architecture, supporting cellular adhesion and migration, while the seeded stem cells release paracrine factors that stimulate angiogenesis, modulate the immune response, and promote re-epithelialization. Developed by the Instituto para el Desarrollo Biotecnológico y la Innovación in collaboration with researchers from the University of Chile, this regenerative therapy aims to provide an effective skin substitute for patients with ulcers refractory to standard healing protocols, thereby reducing the risk of limb amputation.
