Overview

This is a combination of two botulinum toxin type A products, incobotulinumtoxinA and onabotulinumtoxinA. Both are neurotoxins derived from *Clostridium botulinum* and act by inhibiting acetylcholine release at neuromuscular junctions, resulting in temporary muscle paralysis or relaxation. IncobotulinumtoxinA is marketed under the brand name Xeomin and contains only the purified neurotoxin without complexing proteins, while onabotulinumtoxinA is marketed as Botox and includes accessory proteins. Each product has distinct manufacturing processes, potency units, and clinical indications but shares similar mechanisms of action. They are used for various conditions including cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, upper limb spasticity, chronic sialorrhea (excessive drooling), and cosmetic reduction of facial lines[1][3][5]. The combination itself does not represent a standard or approved pharmaceutical product; rather, it refers to concurrent or sequential use of both agents.
