Overview

Combination of **indibulin**, a small molecule inhibitor of microtubule dynamics, and **erlotinib**, a small molecule EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. Indibulin disrupts mitotic spindle formation, thereby inhibiting cell division and inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Erlotinib targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), inhibiting its tyrosine kinase activity and thus blocking the downstream signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation and survival. This combination is under investigation for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, particularly metastatic breast cancer and other refractory cancers. Preclinical and phase I studies suggest possible synergistic cytotoxicity[1][5].
