Combination therapy with these agents has demonstrated potent suppression of HIV-1 RNA and increases in CD4+ lymphocytes, particularly in children and adults with HIV infection[1][2][4]. This regimen is employed mainly where multiple drug therapy is needed to prevent resistance and achieve maximal viral suppression.
