Indium-111 labeled IMP-205 + hMN-14 x m734 is an investigational two-step radioimmunodetection (RAID) pretargeting system designed for the diagnostic imaging of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-expressing tumors, such as colorectal cancer. The system utilizes a bispecific antibody (bsMAb), hMN-14 x m734, which consists of a humanized anti-CEA arm (hMN-14) and a murine anti-indium-DTPA arm (m734). In the clinical procedure, the bispecific antibody is administered first to localize at the tumor site and clear from the circulation. Subsequently, the radiolabeled peptide IMP-205, which is chelated with Indium-111 via DTPA, is injected. The m734 arm of the pre-bound antibody captures the radiolabeled peptide at the tumor site, significantly enhancing the tumor-to-background ratio compared to conventional direct-labeled antibodies. This approach was evaluated in the Phase 1 PRISCO trial sponsored by Radboud University Medical Center.
