Indoximod + temozolomide is an investigational combination therapy consisting of indoximod (an oral small molecule inhibitor of the immunoregulatory enzyme indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase [IDO]) and temozolomide (an oral alkylating chemotherapy agent). Indoximod works by inhibiting IDO-mediated immune suppression in the tumor microenvironment, thereby enhancing anti-tumor T cell responses. Temozolomide is a DNA-alkylating agent that induces cytotoxicity in rapidly dividing tumor cells.
