Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Inetetamab + pertuzumab is a combination of two HER2-targeted monoclonal antibodies used in the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer. Inetetamab is a novel recombinant humanized anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody developed in China with a modified Fc domain engineered for optimized antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) effect. Pertuzumab targets the extracellular dimerization domain (subdomain II) of HER2, inhibiting ligand-initiated intracellular signaling. The combination has shown promising efficacy and safety in neoadjuvant settings for locally advanced HER2-positive breast cancer, often combined with chemotherapy agents such as taxanes and carboplatin.
