Infanrix Hexa + Prevenar

Infanrix Hexa + Prevenar refers to the concomitant administration of two distinct pediatric vaccines: Infanrix Hexa, a hexavalent vaccine developed by GSK, and Prevenar (also known as Prevnar), a 7-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV7) developed by Wyeth (now a subsidiary of Pfizer). Infanrix Hexa provides active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, poliomyelitis, and invasive disease caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib).
