Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Middle East for Vaccines (ME VAC) produces a range of live attenuated infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) vaccines for poultry, specifically designed to combat strains prevalent in the Middle East. Key products include ME VAC IB-VAR2®, which contains the Egyptian variant-2 strain (Eg/1212B/2012), and ME VAC IB-M41®, which contains the M41 Massachusetts-type strain. These vaccines are administered intranasally to induce a protective immune response against avian coronavirus (IBV), which causes highly contagious respiratory disease, nephritis, and significant production losses in chickens.
