Overview

Infliximab + naproxen is a combination therapy consisting of infliximab, a chimeric monoclonal antibody that targets and neutralizes tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), and naproxen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase enzymes to reduce inflammation and pain. This combination has been studied for the treatment of early, active axial spondyloarthritis (SpA), where it demonstrated superior efficacy in achieving clinical remission compared to NSAID monotherapy. Infliximab is primarily indicated for autoimmune inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis. Naproxen is widely used for symptomatic relief in various musculoskeletal disorders due to its analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties[1][5][6].
