influenza vaccine (Advax adjuvanted)

Influenza vaccine (Advax adjuvanted) is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine developed by Vaxine for the prevention of seasonal influenza. The vaccine candidate is composed of recombinant hemagglutinin (rHA) antigens derived from seasonal influenza strains, formulated with Vaxine's proprietary Advax adjuvant. Advax is a unique adjuvant platform based on delta-inulin, a naturally occurring polysaccharide, which is designed to enhance both humoral (antibody) and cellular (T-cell) immune responses. Unlike traditional adjuvants that may cause significant local inflammation, Advax is intended to provide a potent immune boost with a favorable safety and tolerability profile. The vaccine is currently in Phase 2 clinical development, aiming to provide broad and durable protection against circulating influenza A and B viruses.
