interleukin-12 (SET Technology)

interleukin-12 (SET Technology) is a DNA/RNA-based gene therapy developed by SET Technology for the treatment of various cancers, including melanoma, sarcoma, and breast cancer. The therapy utilizes the company's proprietary SET Technology platform to deliver genetic material encoding interleukin-12 (IL-12), a potent proinflammatory cytokine. IL-12 is known to bridge innate and adaptive immunity by activating natural killer (NK) cells and T lymphocytes, and by inducing the production of interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). This mechanism is intended to stimulate a robust antitumor immune response within the tumor microenvironment. The program is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for melanoma and in the optimization stage for other oncology indications.
